Manipur’s Political Crisis: Chief Minister Resignation, Imposition Of Likely President’s Rule

Background:

Manipur Chief Minister Dr N. Biren Singh resigned following his audience with the Union Home Minister. 

Governor relieved him, saying that he must remain in office pending a decision on alternative arrangements.
